- Building and supporting computing infrastructure and software tools for a large artificial intelligence research laboratory (Stanford KSL)
During 12 years at Stanford University's Knowledge Systems Lab and Section on Medical Informatics as a staff member of the SUMEX and CAMIS projects I became intimate with a variety of technologies, ranging from early Lisp Machines to wireless networking with pen-based computers. This experience allowed me to build a broad understanding of what modern technology can and cannot do, and how to get it to do what I want.
I am comfortable authoring in HTML, JavaScript, ASP (VBscript), Java, C++, Common Lisp, Visual Basic, various scripting languages. Others can be added as necessary.
I have been using and developing applications for the Internet since TCP/IP first came into use on the ARPAnet, and 3 megabit EtherNet was the hottest thing around.
